START - Time Over Time ?!? What?

Jon Acuff 's START Conference was here in Brentwood, TN this weekend! He invited a speaker named Reggie Joiner (a Pastor and author of the book 'Playing for Keeps') He is a big part of the Orange Group - "Sometimes think that by doing more and having more the results will be more. Bells and whistles are nice for trains, but young eyes have x-ray vision. They see through them." His presentation on time over time was awesome! He showed that the effect of your time spent with a person or a business is much more effective when spaced out over a long period of time. Like money that grows with compounding interest, your time spent with someone or something starts to compound after a while to have a greater effect. This can be applied in our commercial window cleaning service or any other business for that matter.

The START Conference was here in Nashville, TN this weekend! Jon Acuff was witty and real. His humor and advice really does inspire you to START! I attended the 2 day 14 hour conference myself, and learned a ton along with a bunch of other fun energetic people. Jon and his guest talked about many subjects ranging from having big dreams to how to make real plans for accomplishing those dreams.

One big take away that I have is the 80/20 Rule. Applying this rule is huge in business, any business not just window cleaning. Do the top 20 % of work, usually the most important things faithfully and you will see 80% results from that.
